Giving Back – Our First 2 Service Projects

Serving 1

Our brand new club is off to a great start with 2 service projects under our belt.

  • We collected hats, scarves, and gloves for the Indianapolis Downtown Kiwanis Clubs Aktion Club! Very simple project and now the Aktion Club members will be warm this winter with their outdoor activities.
  • A member of our club, Monic Hill, asked if we would like to sponsor a family through the YMCA Giving Tree for the holidays. We received two families and everyone jumped right in and picked up gifts for all the children in both families.

From Monic: “Thank you so, so much for your kindness! I’m so humbly grateful to you all. With your help, we are able to provide 18 families and each 54 child/youth (ranging from ages 6 months to 18 yrs) with three to five Christmas gifts each this year.”

Especially this time of year…it is important to remember that giving back to others is one of the greatest gifts that all of us can do!

Our Charter Night

What a memorable charter presentation night! Immediate Past International President Dr. John Button and Immediate Past Indiana District Governor bestow honors of being a chartered club of Kiwanis! Thanks to all of our members, friends, and family who joined us….

It was a magical evening dedicated to Fun….Fellowship….and Service!
